Krishna’s life in Gokul was a ballad, a song of playful mischief interwoven with cosmic purpose. Yashoda Mata held a mother’s shield over her beloved child, much as the serpent king Adi Shesha had spread his hood above the newborn, as Vasudeva carried him to Gokul. He was the child who played in his mother’s lap, and the Supreme guardian who rose to vanquish evil and restore righteousness. No pot of butter was too large for his tender hands, and neither were the forces of darkness, Putana in false maternal guise, Trinavarta in whirlwind fury, Bakasura as the fearsome crane, Aghasura as the devouring serpent, Vatsasura as the calf, Dhenukasura as the wild donkey, Kaliya in his venomous coils, Arishtasura as the raging bull, Kesi as the furious horse, Kuvalayapida the enraged elephant, Shakatasura through the cart itself, and eventually the tyrant king Kamsa of Mathura. Be it the pot of curd meant to feed his friends, or Govardhana Giri raised to safeguard his people, his little finger could lift them all.
In every triumph of good over evil, Lord Vishnu left a gentle assurance: whenever righteousness faded and darkness rose, he would descend in divine form to restore balance, protecting and sheltering his devotees.
Yet Krishna was not merely the protector of Gokul, but the very rhythm of its heart. The gopikas longed for the presence of their beloved Lord, and on spring evenings, music and dance became their highest offering. In that divine love, they surrendered themselves completely, every moment becoming a note in the eternal music of devotion. And at the heart of this eternal music was the divine union of Radha and Krishna, where longing became fulfilment, and love revealed itself as the highest form of devotion.

As each creation is handcrafted by an artist, rare circumstances such as weather conditions, health, prior artistic commitments, or other unforeseen events may occasionally result in delays. Should this occur, we will keep you informed and share revised timelines at the earliest opportunity. For bespoke and commissioned creations, a 50% advance is required upon order confirmation. This helps us procure materials and support the artisans who bring each piece to life through their craftsmanship. The remaining balance is payable prior to dispatch.

Each painting is a carefully crafted work of art, created through hours of meticulous craftsmanship and artistic devotion. To honour its authenticity and provenance, a digital Certificate of Authenticity will be issued and shared with the purchaser by email within three working days after delivery.
